There will be a USAT MID-ATLANTIC Regional MEETING ON SAT. SEPT. 13, 2008 IN WASHINGTON D.C. Meeting will take place in Congressional Hall C (located downstairs in the hotel just beyond the Expo area). It is in the race headquarters hotel - the Renaissance  Hotel at 999 Ninth St., NW, Washington, DC 20001 202 898-9000.  8:45 a.m. registration opens.   USAT cards required.   Agenda: 2008 USA Triathlon Mid-Atlantic Region Annual Meeting  September 13, 2008 The UnitedHealthcare Sports and Fitness Expo Renaissance Washington, DC Hotel 999 Ninth Street NW, Washington, DC 20001 (202)-898-9000 USA Triathlon members are invited to join-in and participate at the current USAT Mid-Atlantic Annual Meeting being held in conjunction with the UnitedHealthcare Sports and Fitness Expo and The Nation’s Triathlon.  This is your chance to hear about our local and regional programs to support the sport and our USAT members, and to hear from other respected members of the triathlon community. AGENDA 7:00 AM - 7:45 AM   Fun Run Around the Mall, hosted by the DC Tri Club - Meet                               in Renaissance Washington, DC Hotel Lobby beginning at                            6:45 AM for warm-up.  Come along and tour parts of the                                     race venue, museum buildings, and national monuments                 and memorials on foot.           8:45 AM              Registration for Annual Meeting opens. Complimentary coffee and continental breakfast. [USAT Annual Member cards are mandatory for  Registration] 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM   Annual Board and Members’ Meeting - Chaired by Robert Vigorito, USAT-MA Board President, including: USAT-MA Board Member and Committee Chair reports for 2008 and plans for 2009. Appearances by DC Mayor Adrian Fenty (invited), Elite Team USA Triathlete Timothy O’Donnell (invited), USAT National Director Melissa Merson, race directors, and others. Time allocated for questions & answers. 2007 USAT-MA Regional Ranking Awards and USAT-MA Triathlon and Duathlon Series Awards will also be available for pick-up. Please do not forget to bring your USAT Annual Member card in order to participate. USAT membership renewals and new member signups will be offered onsite.

7/20/08  USAT-MA Board Minutes:   June Posted | 6/5/08:  USAT MA DUATHLON REGIONAL SERIES 2008 UPDATE!
